I've been missing live music work like crazy and was lucky enough to swing through the Zopa/Dolly Spartans show at Elsewhere last week with my gear (and my lens crystals) in tow to capture some moments from the night. While comedy has been a great time, nothing beats the rush of photographing music and the excitement of getting The Shot ™ in the craziness of the crowd. I also broke out my crystals to play around with the strip lights in the back of the set to get some fun effects. Dolly SpartansZopa

Last Thursday, the Photofinish team took to the outdoor space at Crest Hardware in Williamsburg to celebrate 15 strong years of operation. Photofinish, headed by Matt Galle and Mike Marquis, hosts certified platinum artists like 3OH3! and Shaed, who I actually had the pleasure of shooting in this same spot back in 2018! Both artists were on the lineup to celebrate the label, along with newer signings Elliot Lee and Aviv, as well as more tenured artists Marian Hill and joan. Keep scrolling for the full gallery of photos from the night.
Antonio Liranzo and Rocket Cowboy threw a killer party at 3 Dollar Bill to kick off Pride Weekend and I had the pleasure of capturing it all!
A concert! A real life concert! With an audience! Dipped down to Atlantic City last week with the PRONOUN (FKA pronoun) crew for the Atlantic City Beer Festival. However, we were faced with some weather uncertainty that prompted Chris to say that if the show was cancelled he would "walk into the ocean."
Hi all - some news! I'll be selling prints over at Darkroom with half the revenue going to venue employee relief funds around NYC!

Hello! Below is a sampling of my work for consideration to be part of the photo team for SXSW 2020. You can find some more samples (including film) at my Instagram linked here. MY GEAR
I accidentally gave myself a five day weekend last week. The last day was 11/11, Veterans Day. It was one last day to soak up some R&R before I got back into the office. I had a passing thought to try and set up a gratis portrait session with my film point and shoot just to get some practice. Within about ten minutes, this had evolved into "how many people can I work with in the span of six hours tomorrow?" I sent a Google form out into the world and got enough folks to set up some half hour walk and shoots. I ended the day with 26,000 steps: 13 miles. Here are the results And a special bonus portrait from Ben Zucker - a fellow photog who I ran into on the street! We've never met before we bumped into each other on 19th Street!
