North Park Farmer's MarketIn my Poverty and Social Justice capstone course, we were tasked with making a change in regards to food insecurity in Alamance County in collaboration with Alamance Health. My partner, Joey Nappa, and I decided to do a mini-documentary focused on two farmers that supply their fresh food to the North Park Farmer's Market.

2016 Year in ReviewThroughout the year of 2016, I tried my best to document my life in short video snippets. Most of the video was shot on my Canon 70D, with some iPhone clips to supplement.
I edited the clips together to one of my favorite tracks of 2016, Nothing's Over by Young the Giant. |

Elon News NetworkStarting in the 2016-2017 school year, the print and broadcast student journalism programs converged into Elon News Network. Crossover between staffs was highly encouraged.
I'm a graphic designer and photographer for print, but decided to make my broadcast debut for the morning show. I felt incredibly comfortable in front of the camera and would do it again in a heartbeat |
FORMATION TEASER from Christina Casillo on Vimeo. |
Formation TeaserI took behind-the-scenes video at one of The Edge Magazine's shoots for the March issue. The concept of the shoot was pulled from the recently released Beyoncé video, and we took the opportunity to celebrate black women and sisterhood through fashion.
The video was shared on the magazine's Facebook and Twitter. |
Love It or Hate ItLove It or Hate It is a panel-style web show I created in conjunction with The Edge lifestyle magazine at Elon.
I also write the topics and intros, handle guest relations, edit each episode, and create the graphics. A full playlist of all episodes can be found here |
