springtime throwback: boy willows

on a not-too-warm, not-too cold april day last spring, I had the pleasure of taking a stroll around Brooklyn with landon fleischman aka boy willows. the cherry blossoms were in bloom, people were getting their fill at smorgasburg and I was finally putting a face to the couple of tunes I would spin non-stop my senior year of college. what was supposed to be a couple of quick photos in the afternoon and then some shots at his 1 am set at rockwood music hall turned into a full three days of capturing bits and pieces and acting as a glorified roadie across nyc -- and i loved every second of it. our conversation finally was published in the most recent issue of local wolves but i wanted to share a couple more snaps from this afternoon. fun fact - before we headed off to the cherry blossoms outside the brooklyn museum landon was actually pooped on by a bird. truly never a dull moment.
